Due Diligence

Part 1 of The United Kingdom’s Modern Slavery Act of 2015 provides a comprehensive description of the various manifestations of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. The full text of the act is accessible online at the link below. Synaptica, LLC instructs all employees to review Part 1 of this act to raise general awareness of the problem of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. Part 6 / Section 54 provides detailed guidance to ensure transparency in supply chains to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place. Our company evaluates the modern-day slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier, and we review existing suppliers on an annual basis. We require that the management of our suppliers also review the Act, and we encourage our suppliers to make a voluntary policy statement of their commitment to zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking.
